Graduation Celebration For the Straits

Dream Maker's Dinner
Minnetonka High School Foundation held it's annual fundraising dinner at the Bloomington Sheraton Saturday February 6, 2010. They did an incredible job raising funds to support educational programs that are not funded in the general education budget. Classics by David donated portrait services and a 10" canvas print for the silent auction for this great event. the display print featured a 20"X24" canvas "Painter" framed in a Rembrandt reproduction frame. Painter is a process where the digital image is actually painted and then printed on canvas to give it the look of an original oil.

Diamond Awards - Joe Mauer
Minnesota Twins Great JOE MAUER received the Dick Siebert Award for Upper Midwest Player of the Year 2009 at the Diamond Awards on Thursday January 28 at the Hilton Hotel, Minneapolis.

The University of Minnesota Medical Foundation presented Scott and Carol LeDoux a 20"X24" Classic by David "Painter" canvas print on January 28, 2010 at Diamond Awards. Scott, a former heavy weigh boxer was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in August of 2008. Diamond Awards was started by Mark Allison after the death of former twins great baseball player Bob Allison who died of Ataxia. The entire Allison family remains an integral part of Diamond Awards. The annual event raises funds for the University of Minnesota Medical Foundation to continue research in neurological and muscular diseases that affect many individuals and families each year.
